This amazing root also rejuvenates the skin to help eliminate acne. Beets can even be used for hair; they help get rid of dandruff and make your hair shinier and healthier.

When I am feeling run down or a cold coming on, I juice beets, carrots, ginger root, green apples and blackberries. This purifies the blood and is a powerful anti-oxidant to rid my body of illness while giving me energy and a great glow. Eating beets regularly not only helps to recover quickly from illness it also helps for recovery after heavy physical activity. Beets are wonderful for reducing depression, high blood pressure and neurosis.
