The year was 2014 and I needed a professional stylist for the launch of my new business, Ash Consulting Group, a diversity and equity educational consulting firm. I had never worked with a professional stylist before, and I had definitely never done a photo shoot.
Insert my now sister-friend Rhoda Johnson of Rhoda Design Group. Not only is Rhoda a Hollywood-trained makeup artist, she is a personal and professional branding genius AND a wonderful jewelry designer. I’m actually wearing one of her one-of-a-kind necklaces in this photo (and I’ve bought several other jewelry pieces from her since then). She also has her own makeup and skincare line, both of which are amazing.
Once you work with Rhoda, you own your beauty and power like never before. Working with Rhoda in 2014 changed my life, professionally and personally, and I’ve never looked back. I owe her so much. Every time, I want to reassess my personal and professional brand, I start by meeting with Rhoda. Denver friends, if you are looking for someone like Rhoda at this point in your life and career, I can’t recommend her enough.
