As a young woman, I was inspired by the extraordinary female leaders in my community, who dedicated themselves to helping others. Their example motivated me to refine my image and help other women do the same.
My journey led me to Southern California. There, I earned a BA in Fashion Merchandising, an Image Consulting License, and a Makeup Artistry Certificate, studying under the legendary Hollywood Makeup Artist Stein family. With 40 years in the beauty and fashion industries, including 11 years with YSL and 10 years with Chanel, I've mastered the art of makeup and wardrobe styling for diverse cultures.
Research shows that a polished professional image can increase earnings by up to 20%, which helps to close the wage disparity gap for minority women. This statistic inspired me to create a makeup line and Image Consulting Boutique to elevate the leadership presence of professional women.
Opportunities opened up for me to support celebrities, politicians, ESPN announcers, International Model Nikki Taylor, C-Suite Executives, CEOs, and Corporate Teams, with my innovative approach to professional image brand development and the unique products I have created. For 9 years, I hosted workshops at Hunters Beauty Supply, guiding women of color in best makeup practices for business settings with my makeup and skincare products.
My skincare products evolved into Ageless Beauty Botanical skincare with a holistic based approach. And my makeup line evolved into makeup wardrobe kits designed for busy professional women, offering the convenience of TSA-approved packages. Collaborating with color expert Alice Rock, we developed a unique color analysis approach to help women find the perfect makeup kit for their skin tone and style.
My dedication to elevating the leadership presence of professionals continues as a WBE and WOSB certified business offering corporate workshops and private coaching services.
